There are figures and workpieces for decorating from natural clay at the majority of the developing Arti sets. These figures are made in our ceramic shop and burned in the special furnace at the temperature more than 1000˚С. All ceramic Arti products are molded by masters manually therefore each set for creativity is unique! All production is manufactured in Russia, in the ancient Russian city Smolensk located on the riverbank Dnieper in 400 km to the southwest from Moscow.
Arti cares for children therefore we use only the most qualitative materials and accessories during the developing and production of the sets. Clay is sedimentary rock which has appeared on the Earth many millions years ago. When mixing clay and water the plastic mixture suitable for further processing, for example, for modeling and burning is formed. Clay that Arti applies at production of the sets doesn't contain chemical additives and is pure natural material for 100%. We use natural red clay from which the products gain on terracotta color while burning.
Arti has fully integrated production, from clay digging, it’s mixing, molding and burning of products to their completing and packing in sets. Nevertheless we try to apply the most modern technologies and we have automated many processes, Arti consciously uses only manual skills during creation of clay figures. Our masters are the professional modelers of products from clay creating remarkable and unique masterpieces. By the way, handwork is also applied when painting eyes at the majority of our figures that lights them up and gives additional attraction.
Our main series of sets for creativity "Do It Yourself Toy", "Getting Acquainted With The Nature", "The Winter's Tale" are created on the basis of a handmade flat clay toy. How we make toys: after expansion of clay layer figures are cut out from it by means of special forms, then the figures are decorated with various decorative elements (the same principle as at expansion of dough and cutting, for example, cookies). It is very convenient to paint flat clay figures with acrylic paints and to hang up them on a wall. The sets "Excellent Gift" and "Funny Bells" are created by another principle. The are created on the basis of volume clay figures. It is possible to play with all Arti products or to present to somebody!
Human has begun to use products from clay quite a long time ago. And clay toys accompany games of children from times immemorial. It is very interesting to observe how from a shapeless piece of clay by means of art of the master, water and temperature the product is ready to serve the person for a long time.
We are scrupulous about creation of new Arti goods which are created taking into account the recommendations of child psychologists and in cooperation with the child care developing facilities: art schools and studios of creativity.
